Pragmatic "Focus" methodology

Our methodology is no different from the one which is common practice in most IT projects, but it is the pragmatic approach that differentiates us from others.

In contrast to a traditional methodology, where an extensive analysis period preceeds the implementation phase resulting into a classic "blue-print document", the Focus methodology sets the focus very early in the project on the definition of the scope and requirements.

Already in a pre-sales phase (before the contract is signed), we evaluate the requirements and map these to existing All-in-One pre-configured business processes. This means that at the moment when you sign the contract, the scope is already known for more than 80 %.

Based on a first workshop, we define your company profile and the system is pre-configured (installation of All-in-One solution). Follow-up workshops are organized to go through each pre-configured business process which leads to delta documents. These delta’s define in how far your business process deviates (remaining 20 %) from the ones provided in our All-in-One solution(s).

Due to the nature of pre-configuration, we can move much quicker from the analysis into the realization phase. In contrast to the traditional "from scratch"  implementation, the realization phase focuses on fine-tuning pre-configuration. It enables us to focus more on the people than on the system.

Data migration & forms is often underestimated or even ignored in project estimations, although it is a critical factor in every implementation. By delivering pre-defined form layouts, data migration tools and upload templates, we are able to migrate very quickly.

Getting the people ready is most important factor in our methodology. We believe in extensive training & information sessions, well documented business procedures and professional after go-live support.
