Ecover supports growth and complexity with SAP Business All-in-One
Financial manager Philippe Lannoy mentions benefits in customer video
Zaventem, Belgium – January 21, 2010 – Oasis Consultants today announced the recording of a video with Ecover. In 2008-2009 an SAP Business All-in-One solution was implemented by Oasis Consultants to support Ecover’s business operations, ranging from product design and development, over procurement, inventory and transportation management, production and quality management, to sales and services.
The implementation was largely based on preconfigured SAP Best Practices business scenarios. After a first project phase four countries went live on April 1, 2009: Belgium, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. By the end of the year Switzerland and the United States were added to the SAP system.
Philippe Lannoy, Financial Manager at Ecover, sees benefits in the following areas: the ability to support future growth having already grown five times in the last ten years and tripled the workforce; optimizing working capital with planned inventory reduction, shortened receivables and optimized payables; and encouraging planning production from the view of sales forecasts rather than historical inventory analysis.
Philippe Lannoy also stresses the critical role of the service partner on an implementation at a midsize enterprise, the impact of a large project on an organization and the time needed to get things done.
