OneAccess designs, manufactures and sells network access infrastructure from routers, ethernet access devices to software for managed services. It is one of the top 100 private technology companies based in the EMEA region. In 2007 OneAccess decided to implement SAP for the French HQs and the Belgian subsidiary. At first OneAccess had started with SAP Business One, but it realized that its business model (especially its production process) was too complex. Oasis was selected to implement SAP Business All-in-One based on SAP Best Practices. ECC 6.0 modules in scope were sales, finance, controlling, purchasing, inventory management, customer service and production. 
EIA Electronics has established itself a firm position in the market for electronics for off-road and industrial vehicles. The Belgian SME develops and produces standard displays, controllers and wireless communication modules. It offers standard and custom made products up to complete dashboards and armrests. It has an extensive experience in the electronic, mechanical and ergonomic design of complete custom made products.
The selection process got the customer’s full attention. EIA Electronics inventoried all the requirements, surveyed the market and studied the possibilities. At the end it chose SAP for its Best Practices. Best Practices are powerful templates with a series of preconfigured business scenarios specific for a vertical industry. In the Industrial Machinery & Components template the customer found all functionality required to manage specific processes such as forecasting, subcontracting and material flows without a problem. EIA Electronics also chose SAP for the functionalities in production, design and quality management. Additionally SAP is of course a package solution with impressive references that guarantees customers continuity.
OASIS Consultants became the implementation partner of EIA Electronics because of its Best Practices approach. A few focal points: entire follow up of design and production process, including quality control; margin calculation; optimal inventory management; improved follow up of logistics flow; subcontracting. EIA went live in January 2004 with version 4.6. The implementation effort was 240 mandays. In 2005 the SAP PS module was implemented for the design department. This contained the project offering path, project set-up, project delivery and follow-up.

In 2006 the implementation by OASIS of SAP ERP based on SAP Best Practices was started. The project successfully went live in June 2007 and covers all departments and their business processes including research and design, production, purchase and stock management, service and maintenance, sales and distribution. Roll-outs to other countries are planned.
